I am excited to be going to see Coraline today. We'll be seeing it in 3D with friends and friends of friends down in Cuppertino. To whet my appitite I went and found Neil Gaiman's clip on Koumpounophobia which is wonderfully creepy.

There is a whole CoralineFilms YouTube Channel for you to peruse. If you haven't seen the film you may want to be careful to avoid spoilers, but hopefully they've been careful about putting their clips together.

 More later after I've seen the movie.

A group of "Weird Al" Yankovic fans are putting on a fan get-together in Orange County on August 1, 2009. They currently have information up on MySpace and Facebook. As this is a fan run event, Al is not expected to be there. However, there are some comedy bands scheduled to perform, including Throwing Toasters, Jake Waters, and Tony Goldmark.
