"Weird Al" Yankovic has a new song out called "Craigslist". It is supported by a video, available to view for free on YouTube (and embedded below). The song is available on Amazon's MP3 store, iTunes, and other mp3 stores. The video is also available for purchase through iTunes.
"Weird Al" also has a project in collaboration with the Orange County Fair called Al's Brain. While the fair has gotten some flack for putting money toward this that might have gone toward the agricultural side of the fair, the people running the fair see it as an investment in the entertainment side which contributes to fair attendance. As producers, they may also "rent" this attraction to other fairs, which may bring in more money as well. A YouTube video trailer for Al's Brain is also below.
AlFest 2009 is still being planned for August 1st. For more details see their site at http://www.alfest2009.com/. It should be reiterated that Al will not be attending. On a uStream chat on June 16th, he specifically said he would be in Hawaii while AlFest is going on. However, in addition to at least 2 band members and lots of funny musicians singing their hearts out, look for members of the cast of UHF!
